In the beginning, God created humanity in His image. [Genesis 1:26-27]
Sin entered the world and distorted what God had created to be holy, causing separation between Him and His creaton. [Genesis 3: 22-24]
Through Jesus Christ, we are reconciled to God. [2 Corinthians 5: 17-21, Colossians 1:19-22]
Christ is the express image of God. As we are transformed into the image of Christ, we are being restored to the identity, holiness, communion, and purpose God intended for us from the beginning. [Hebrews 1: 1-4, Colossians 1: 15, Romans 8:29, 2 Corinthians 3:18, Ephesians 4: 23-24, 2 Corinthians 4:4]
Going back to the beginning doesn't mean going backward.
It means going back to the original Image that God intended for us to be since The Beginning.
Back to communion. Back to holiness. Back to identity. Back to purpose. Back to worship. Back to God. BACK TO THE BEGINNING.

Being Fashioned
Being Fashioned After Christ is more than believing in Jesus as Savior. It is surrendering to Him as Lord. Christ saves us, reconciles us to the Father, and calls us out of the bondage of sin. As Lord, He becomes the center of our lives, our thoughts, our choices, our desires, our relationships, our purpose, and leads us in a Life of Worship.
When we surrender our lives to Christ, everything changes. We are called to put off the old nature of this world and put on Christ.
To become more like Him. To live according to His Word. To be used for His will. To pursue holiness. To Go Back to The Beginning
